Responsibilities:
- A] Production Management:
Responsible for Carrying out the multiple production lines from raw material till finished goods (Cutting , Assembly ,Encapsulation lines with Spin welding, Ultrasonic welding, Plastic components assembly)
Strong coordination with plastic component suppliers to ensure Right First Time Manufacturing and on time delivery.
Responsible for manpower handling >100 operators and supervisors
Responsible for Effective production planning & scheduling
Responsible for achieving productivity KPI in each section and production line
Responsible to meet OTD / OTIF target for each sale order
Work very closely with Sales team to achieving customer requirements in terms of Delivery
Work very closely with factory Quality & Process engineering team and ensure Zero Defect in every order
Establish all processes with right resources and right first time production concept.
Effective planning and participation in implementing NPD projects on time and with productivity improvements.
Hands on Experience in ERP operations
Where necessary, identify new technology and machines suitable for the manufacturing process
Hands on Experience in QMS documentation and Visual management
Responsible for driving Safety First culture across all production lines
Continuously monitor the process to identify improvement opportunities for defect reduction / productivity improvement
Identify mechanization / automation opportunities and implement the same
Responsible for implementing hard core automation concepts and projects in all production lines
Responsible for analysing internal and External complaints with 8D approach
Responsible for training new joinee on WI, control plans and safe working procedure
Developing and implementing cost-effective manufacturing process, techniques and equipment to improve production
Strong knowledge & Responsible to implement Lean tools as per Organization roadmap
B] General:
Ensure timely updating of production data to ERP and easy flow of operations
Look for opportunities to develop ‘flow’ and modify the process / layout(s) to achieve the same
Identify and implementing VAVE projects and meet the department target.
Review and develop SOPs and train production personnel on the same
Installation, commissioning of machines / production lines
Work for process safety enhancement by identifying safety risks
Effective participation in Continuous Improvement Culture ( Kaizen , 5’S Improvement )
